The annual town tree lighting ceremony has been a regular tradition for us. High School band playing carols, usually the town sings carols (many years by candle light), Santa comes on a firetruck, etc. This year, all the little kids sat and listenened, but ours weren't among them. Jacob was with the High School band. Ben and Jessica couldn't wait to leave before anyone they knew saw them (ahhh, the life of Jr. Highers). Doesn't dawn on them that anyone who saw them couldn't tease, as they are there too. Logic has not yet enterred curriculum, but they are growing up...

2011_11_25 Getting our Tree

When we got our pumpkin it was snowing. Now, when we got our tree, it was very sunny and warm! Had a great day wandering among the trees with Harlow. Ben and Jacob cut the tree down. It's the tallest tree we've ever gotten, at about 11 feet. Hard to believe, the but the season is upon us!
