2009_03 Chopping Wood

The boys have been a great help chopping wood, learning to swing the axe, and getting scout credit too! Did you know Abe Lincoln's Dad gave him his first axe when he was 10, and rented him out to neighbors for $0.25 a day? No wonder he was so passionate against slavery!

2009_03 Girl Scout Square Dance

The whole family joined in the fun at the Daughter and Dad Girl Scout Square Dance. Josie got roped into being the auctioneer, and raised several thousand $ (one basket - of webkinz- went for $600!). Winter concert 2/2009

Nothing beats Jacob enjoying a little Springstien at the Middle School winter concert. We've met with the Jazz Band Director, and Ben will be trying out for the piano position in the fall. If he gets in, the boys will be in the same Jazz band together. Could be fun! Also attached, Jacob just before going out to his first school dance.
